Founded in 1993 and then becoming part
of IPI Group Holding in 2002, Power Tech is one of the leading
specialized automotive & DC Power companies established in Lebanon.
Headquartered in Down Town, Beirut, with multiple warehouses in
different Lebanese regions, the company benefits from a
comprehensive warehousing and distribution network aimed to fulfill
all its customers’ needs.
Power Tech / IPI Group expands its distribution network to serve its
customers in Lebanon & its subsidiaries in the MENA & Africa

With nearly over 20 years of experience as specialists in batteries
& automotive parts warehousing, marketing and distribution, Power

Key Milestones
1993
Establishment of Power Tech SARL in Beirut, and the launch of
automotive batteries distribution.
1995
Launch of SVRLA battery distribution.
1996
Launch of Industrial projects and systems integration division, and
introduction of stationary batteries.
1998
Introduction of DC Power Systems into the systems integration
division.
1998
Establishing the first overseas partnership in Africa.
1999
The introduction of industrial power systems and power conditioning
into the systems integration division.
2000
Big regional expansion and awarded the first OEM contract.
2001-2002
Introduction of Telecom antennas and cables and the start of the
Telecom infra structure division in Lebanon.
2004-2005
Major regional expansion with the telecom infrastructure division
and opening of Iraq operation and the panel boards and shelters
assembly units.
2006-2007
Establishing the Sudan, Egypt, and KSA operations and launching of
the hybrid power concept for Telecom sites.
2008
Establishing the Nigerian and Tanzanian operations.
2009
Establishing the Syria, and Yemen operations and acquisition of the
stake in a Spanish industrial group.
2010
Expansion of operations to have direct presence in Sudan and Jordan
2011
Acquisition of Linfra Company & further expansion of
Telecommunication Infrastructure & Power Systems operations in the
Middle East & North Africa Region
Establishment of the Energy Division, specialized in UPS, power quality products and energy systems.
